NEW REQUIREMENT
Practitioners registered in the province of British Columbia are required to be on the College of Physical Therapists of BC's Dry Needling Roster.
"Note that unless you are a full registrant and have been notified that you have been approved and are added to the roster, you may not use dry needles in practice in British Columbia".
Tool Tip
SEE FIELD: Current Registration > Additional Skills > Dry Needling Roster
If Additional Skills field is empty, you are not on the roster.
Full registrants using dry needles within the physical therapy scope of practice must be on the College roster. To get on the roster, registrants must submit documentation of their credentials to the College.
August 6, 2019 a short-term moratorium on accepting any new dry needling roster applications was initiated.
The College has extended the application deadline to Thursday August 29th.
